JOHN COLLINS - 1945 to 2002

JC - AS HE WAS AWAYS KNOWN TO HIS FRIENDS, PASSED AWAY IN 2002.
John joined the Junior leaders Regt. at the tender age of 15.
His first Regular posting in 1962 was to 42 Medium Regt RA who at that time were stationed in Pembroke Dock.
It was whilst stationed there, that in 1963 he met his future wife Jenny.
In 1964 the Regiment moved to Lippstadt, John Married Jenny in 1967.
The next posting was to Devizes in 1969, and just before 42 went to Northern Ireland, he left for Herford back in Germany where he finished his army career with 4 Div. Avn Regt. in July 1972.

John died In October 2002, after bravely fighting cancer.
He is missed greatly by Jenny, his 3 sons and his darling Granddaughter who was born 4 weeks before he died.
JC will also be missed by all his old Regimental pals.
Rest peacefully JC.

MIKE COXWELL -

MIKE ACTUALLY ORGANISED THE FIRST REGIMENTAL REUNION WHILST HE WAS STATIONED IN LARKHILL.

UNFORTUNATELY MIKE PASSED AWAY IN 1999

JERRY McRORY -

JERRY SERVED IN 94 BATTERY.
HE WAS A GOOD MATE OF MINE, HE ACTUALLY ATTENDED MY WEDDING, HE JUST MISSED OUT BEING MY BEST MAN. HE SAID HE DIDNT WANT THAT RESPONSABILITY - HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR THE BEER.

HE ATTENDED THE FIRST REGIMENTAL REUNION IN 1987
I HAD HADN,T SEEN HIM SINCE 1969 OR AGAIN AFTER
THE REUNION.
REST WELL MATE, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

RALPH FELLA
Enlisted in RA 1943 to 1946 then rejoined in 1952. (Deceased 1988)

SSgt Ralph Albert Fella, served with 42 Regt RA
68 Bty from 1957 to 1974.
Served with Regt in Plymouth, Cyprus, Pembroke Dock, Lippstadt, Fallingbostel and Devizes.
