ABBOTT SELF PROPELLED GUN



This vehicle is the Field artillery component of the FV432 family of vehicles and entered service in 1965.
The abbot is obsolescent in the main artillery role of breaking up enemy tank formations following
experiance in the middle east conflicts, which proved that 155mm guns were the smallest capable
of breaking up a massed armoured formation.
